Role: Workday Analyst (Recruiting & Core HCM)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a Senior Workday Analyst with deep expertise in Recruiting and Core HCM to support the functional delivery of a candidate sourcing platform implementation.
- This role will play a critical part in bridging business needs with system capabilities, ensuring seamless integration and optimized recruiting workflows.
- The ideal candidate is a strong functional lead who can gather complex requirements, influence configuration decisions, and drive testing through successful deployment.
- This individual will partner closely with stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with recruiting leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand and define talent acquisition workflows and business needs
- Gather, document, and prioritize detailed business and functional requirements for integration with Workday
- Translate business requirements into functional designs and provide configuration guidance
- Lead requirements workshops, design sessions, and solution walkthroughs with business and technical teams
- Drive testing strategy, including test planning, execution, and defect management
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring business readiness and successful adoption
- Document solution designs, configuration decisions, and end-user training materials
- Provide recommendations on recruiting best practices, process improvements, and system optimization
- Support overall delivery lifecycle including issue resolution, enhancements, and post-go-live support
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with a strong focus on Recruiting and Core HCM
- Deep understanding of talent acquisition processes, recruiting workflows, and candidate lifecycle management
- Proven ability to gather and translate complex business requirements into functional solutions
- Experience guiding Workday configuration and supporting end-to-end delivery
- Strong knowledge of recruiting ecosystem touchpoints (job postings, sourcing, applicant tracking, etc.)
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with candidate sourcing or CRM platforms (e.g., Phenom or similar tools)
- Workday Recruiting certification
- Experience with business process design and optimization initiatives
- Familiarity with HR compliance and recruiting best practices
