AIOps Delivery Lead

Job Description
We are seeking a highly technical and self-directed AIOps Delivery Lead to drive automation, artificial intelligence, observability, and infrastructure operations initiatives across a complex enterprise IT environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical delivery leader who can coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, manage milestones and dependencies, and communicate clearly with executive stakeholders. The selected consultant will help deliver AI-enabled operations, self-healing automation, vulnerability remediation workflows, CI/CD guardrails, and observability standards across cloud and infrastructure platforms.
Key Responsibilities
· Serve as the primary delivery lead for Agentic AIOps initiatives, managing timelines, milestones, dependencies, and integration activities across multiple engineering teams.
· Coordinate development and delivery of automation solutions using Google Cloud Vertex AI, Model Context Protocol frameworks, and related AI orchestration capabilities.
· Drive infrastructure automation programs, including password reset automation, monitoring automation, alerting workflows, and self-healing operational capabilities.
· Lead delivery of Infrastructure and Operations AI projects that improve resiliency, reduce manual effort, and minimize business or user impact.
· Define and standardize CI/CD pipeline guardrails, observability practices, and automation patterns across multi-cloud environments.
· Partner with engineering, application support, infrastructure, data, and security teams to resolve blockers, align priorities, and maintain delivery accountability.
· Oversee performance testing, validation, and data integrity activities for technical solutions, including Snowflake and ETL-related workflows.
· Support unified intake and IT service management workflows using ITSM, ITIL, and Lean principles to create repeatable operational processes.
· Develop and manage vulnerability tracking and automated remediation workflows to support enterprise security and compliance requirements.
· Prepare concise executive updates, highlight risks and dependencies, and proactively remove delivery roadblocks.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
· 7+ years of experience leading complex technical delivery, infrastructure programs, software delivery, platform engineering, or enterprise IT operations initiatives.
· Strong experience with AIOps, DevOps, SRE, infrastructure automation, cloud operations, or platform reliability programs.
· Hands-on familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch, or similar enterprise platforms.
· Experience coordinating CI/CD pipeline automation, deployment standards, testing practices, and release readiness activities.
· Ability to work across engineering, operations, data, security, and leadership teams while managing competing priorities and dependencies.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to translate detailed technical status into clear executive-level updates.
Preferred Skills
· Google Cloud Platform experience, particularly Vertex AI or cloud-native automation services.
· Experience with Model Context Protocol, agentic AI frameworks, AI orchestration, or workflow automation platforms.
· Working knowledge of Snowflake, ETL pipelines, data validation, and technical testing practices.
· ITSM, ITIL, Lean, vulnerability management, or enterprise security compliance experience.
· Background working in large-scale, multi-regional, or highly matrixed enterprise environments.
