Senior Mobile Engineer

Introduction

The Senior Mobile Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. They will work closely with the development team to ensure the smooth operation of mobile applications and provide technical leadership in mobile development projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
• Participate in architecture and technical design decisions
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality software
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
• Implement mobile architecture patterns and state management solutions
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data synchronization
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, etc.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and startup time
• Implement push notifications and deep linking functionality
• Work with CI/CD tools like Git, Fastlane, App Center, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
• Implement automated testing using XCTest, Espresso, Detox, etc.
• Troubleshoot production issues using crash reporting tools like Firebase Crashlytics, App Center
• Work with analytics and A/B testing tools for data analysis
• Collaborate with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure for backend services

Requirements

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of professional mobile application development experience
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency in Android and iOS development
• Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud computing
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD tools

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with React Native development
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
