About Spezio Property Services
Spezio Property Services is seeking an experienced Equipment Mechanic / Fleet Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair approximately 50 company-owned vehicles and pieces of equipment.
This is an opportunity to earn $26?$29 per hour with weekly pay, a Monday?Friday schedule, and a $500 annual tool allowance.
Unlike a traditional automotive repair shop, this position focuses exclusively on internal fleet maintenance?no outside customers or customer repair orders.
Whether your background is in automotive repair, diesel mechanics, or fleet maintenance, Spezio Property Services offers training to help you expand your skills into equipment repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, oil changes, fluid services, lubrication, and routine inspections on company-owned vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair gasoline and diesel fleet vehicles to maintain reliability and minimize downtime.
- Inspect, service, and repair braking systems, including identifying worn or damaged components.
- Mount, service, and repair tires on fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot 12V and 24V electrical systems using diagnostic equipment, including Autel tools.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems on company equipment.
- Perform light welding and metal fabrication as needed for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while completing repairs efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on mechanical experience required in automotive, diesel, fleet, or equipment repair.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and general vehicle repairs.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems independently and complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Must have personal mechanic tools appropriate for the position.
- Comfortable servicing a variety of gasoline and diesel vehicles and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain quality standards while working efficiently.
- Willingness to learn equipment-specific repair procedures and expand technical skills through available training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous fleet maintenance or equipment repair experience.
- Experience diagnosing gasoline and diesel vehicle systems.
- Knowledge of 12V and 24V electrical diagnostics.
- Experience inspecting and repairing hydraulic systems.
- Light welding and metal fabrication experience.
- Class A or Class B CDL preferred, but not required.
Automotive Technicians Encouraged to Apply!
Direct equipment maintenance experience is not required. Candidates with a strong automotive repair background and a willingness to learn equipment maintenance are welcome to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $26?$29 per hour, depending on experience.
