Cloud Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Cloud Architect in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Define and maintain enterprise cloud architecture standards and vision
* Design and govern a secure, scalable multi-tenant environment across agencies
* Establish architectural patterns, governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps
* Coordinate with agency IT leaders to balance autonomy with enterprise consistency
* Architect cloud infrastructure, security, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions
* Ensure compliance with policies, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and applicable regulations
* Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and escalation support
* Communicate architectural strategies and trade-offs to technical and executive stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* 15+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in an Enterprise or Cloud Architect role
* Hands-on experience designing solutions on major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)
* Proven experience with multi-tenant or multi-organization architectures and governance
* Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and enterprise integration patterns
* Experience with enterprise content management or intelligent document processing platforms
* Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
