Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled QA Analyst to support its Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program. This role is critical in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of enterprise applications as part of a broader digital transformation initiative.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cybersecurity teams, enterprise architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality testing across complex IT environments, including SaaS and COTS solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform functional and non-functional testing across cybersecurity applications (SaaS, COTS, and in-house systems)
  • Execute API testing for RESTful and SOAP services
  • Conduct data validation testing using SQL and backend systems
  • Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts
  • Perform SIT, Regression, Performance, and UAT testing
  • Collaborate with vendors, product owners, and stakeholders on QA deliverables
  • Identify risks, conduct root cause analysis, and support mitigation efforts
  • Manage test environments and test data preparation
  • Track and manage defects; lead defect triage and resolution
  • Provide QA status reporting (weekly/ad hoc)
  • Support full SDLC lifecycle projects
  • Deliver final QA sign-off documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on QA/testing experience
  • Strong experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) and SQL/data validation
  • Expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management
  • Experience with Agile/DevOps environments
  • Exposure to SaaS and COTS applications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders across teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Cybersecurity or security-focused testing
  • Hands-on experience with CyberArk (PAM)
  • Knowledge of IAM technologies (Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA, Key Vault)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, test automation tools, SharePoint
  • Exposure to enterprise systems (ERP, Finance, HR, Asset Management)
  • Familiarity with unionized environments (CUPE, COPE, Unifor)
  • Experience leveraging AI tools in QA processes
