SAP MM (P2P) Consultant – Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Procure-to-Pay) Consultant to support and enhance SAP procurement and materials management processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP MM and end-to-end P2P workflows, working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM/P2P solutions.
• Configure and support SAP MM modules including:
  • Purchasing
  • Inventory Management
  • Vendor Management
  • Invoice Verification
  • Material Master
  • Procurement Processes
• Support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle including requisition, purchase order, goods receipt, and invoice processing.
• Work with cross-functional teams including SAP FI/AP, SD, and Warehouse teams for integrations and issue resolution.
• Conduct GAP analysis, process mapping, and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare functional specifications, BRDs, configuration documents, and test scripts.
• Support integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
• Assist in data migration, master data management, and system enhancements.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot SAP MM/P2P related issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.

Required Skills

• SAP MM experience with strong Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process knowledge.
• Hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Purchase Requisitions
  • Purchase Orders
  • Goods Receipt
  • Invoice Verification
  • Inventory Management
  • Vendor Master Data
• Experience with SAP integrations involving FI/AP and Supply Chain modules.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of business process analysis and documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP MM Certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP Ariba or SRM is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, or supply chain environments is a plus.
