Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented temporary team member to configure data center sites within PathFinder, client's internal network cabling planning tool. This role involves entering site-specific measurements and configuration data into PathFinder to enable automated cable pathing, port assignment, and order generation for network infrastructure deployments.

Key Responsibilities

- Enter data hall measurements including cable tray dimensions, pathway distances, and rack/cabinet positions
- Validate entered data against source documentation (design drawings, as-built surveys, vendor measurement packages)
- Coordinate with field teams and vendors to clarify measurement discrepancies or missing data
- Track site enablement progress and report status across assigned sites
- Follow standardized processes and SOWs for data entry accuracy and consistency
- Escalate configuration issues or data conflicts to the PathFinder team

Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Experience with data entry in web-based tools or databases
- Ability to read and interpret site drawings, floor plans, or measurement documentation
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and tracking tools
- Effective written communication for cross-team coordination
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a queue of sites independently

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with data center environments, cable tray systems, or network infrastructure
- Experience with internal tools or similar enterprise resource planning systems
- Background in telecommunications, structured cabling, or construction documentation
- Understanding of network cabling terminology (NOS, fiber trunks, copper patching)

Tools & Systems
- PathFinder Cable Manager (primary tool)
- PathFinder Site Load Intake Form (PDF-based measurement capture)
- PathFinder Site Load UI Wizard (web-based guided data entry)
- Standard communication tools (Slack, email)

Success Metrics
- Number of sites fully configured and enabled in PathFinder per week
- Data entry accuracy rate (minimal rework or corrections required)
- Turnaround time from receiving measurement data to site go-live in
