Salesforce Solution Architect
Full Time - Remote
PruTech is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to design and lead the implementation of Salesforce solutions for government and commercial clients. This role bridges business requirements and technical implementation, creating Salesforce architectures that are scalable, secure, and aligned with client objectives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across Salesforce clouds, provide technical leadership to development teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients on their Salesforce strategy.
### Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions
- Lead architecture discussions with clients to define Salesforce solution approaches and roadmaps
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to Salesforce development teams throughout project delivery
- Design data models, integration patterns, and security architectures within the Salesforce platform
- Create architecture documentation including ERDs, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications
## Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery sessions with clients to understand business processes and map them to Salesforce capabilities
- Design Salesforce object models, relationships, and data architecture aligned with platform best practices
- Architect integrations between Salesforce and external systems using MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and platform events
- Define security models including sharing rules, permission sets, and field-level security
- Evaluate build vs. buy decisions for AppExchange products and custom development
- Review and validate technical designs, Apex code, and LWC components proposed by development teams
- Identify governor limit risks and design patterns to ensure scalable solutions
- Support pre-sales efforts by contributing to proposals and participating in client presentations
- Establish Salesforce development standards and best practices for project teams
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends
## Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7+ years of Salesforce experience with at least 3 years in solution architecture or technical leadership roles
- Deep expertise across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Public Sector Solutions)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, governor limits, and platform capabilities
- Experience designing integrations using MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, or middleware platforms
- Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and declarative automation tools (Flow, Process Builder)
- Knowledge of Salesforce security model including sharing, profiles, and permission sets
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working with government or public sector clients
- Ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple concurrent projects
## Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification
- Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Health Cloud, or Education Cloud
- MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Salesforce DX)
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and government compliance requirements
- Experience with large data volume (LDV) strategies and data migration
