Lead SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant (S/4HANA Manufacturing Transformation)

Compensation: Up to $208,000 Base Salary

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant to support enterprise-wide SAP transformation initiatives within a complex manufacturing environment. This role will play a key part in a multi-year SAP modernization program, including ECC-to-S/4HANA migration efforts, while also supporting existing SAP production environments.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on SAP functional expert with deep experience in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM). This individual will lead solution design, configuration, testing, process optimization, and business collaboration activities across manufacturing operations.

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys owning projects end-to-end, partnering directly with business stakeholders, and driving meaningful improvements within a manufacturing-focused SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the SAP PP/QM subject matter expert for manufacturing operations.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and deployment activities.
• Configure and optimize SAP PP and QM functionality.
• Develop functional specifications for custom enhancements and integrations.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business stakeholders to define future-state processes.
• Support SAP ECC environments while contributing to S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
• Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement system enhancements.
• Develop training materials, process documentation, and user guides.
• Deliver end-user and stakeholder training sessions.
• Partner with engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and technology teams.
• Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies throughout project lifecycles.
