Hours and Pay
- Pay Rate: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Daily Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for simulated training devices, including AC/DC power distribution and I/O systems
- Interface with avionics and trainer equipment using protocols such as MIL-1553, ARINC-429, and Ethernet
- Create wire lists, cable drawings, system schematics, and top-level assembly designs
- Collaborate with Systems and Mechanical Engineering teams to ensure cohesive, manufacturable designs
- Work with vendors and suppliers to specify hardware and support technology solutions
- Support design reviews, requirement reviews, and acceptance testing with internal and external stakeholders
- Mentor and collaborate with engineers across multiple experience levels
- Partner with CAD teams to develop detailed engineering documentation and drawings
- Support manufacturing by resolving design issues and managing engineering change documentation
- Participate in customer events, including configuration audits and maintenance training
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Mid-Level: 3-7 years of relevant experience
- Senior-Level: 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with electrical system design and testing processes
- Working knowledge of:
- AC/DC power distribution and grounding systems
- I/O distribution, networking, KVM, and control systems
- Emergency Power Off, overheat protection, and audio systems
- Ability to produce manufacturable, reliable, and maintainable electrical designs
- Experience reading and interpreting vehicle schematics and technical documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to customers
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with government or military applications
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software
- Experience supporting design reviews, acceptance testing, and customer-facing engineering activities
