Job Title: SQL Server DBA
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 6+ Months of Contract
We are looking for an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with strong hands-on experience managing SQL Server databases and working with infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server database administration, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience managing database infrastructure and server environments.
Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and database services.
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and database services.
Expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting.
Experience with database backup, recovery, replication, and high availability.
Knowledge of disaster recovery, database security, and access management.
Experience with database migration, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure management.
Familiarity with Windows Server, networking, storage, and infrastructure administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing SQL Server environments across on-premises, AWS, and Azure.
AWS RDS for SQL Server and Azure SQL / Azure SQL Managed Instance experience.
Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools.
Relevant Microsoft, AWS, or Azure certifications are a plus.

A hands-on SQL Server DBA who understands both database administration and underlying cloud infrastructure, and can independently manage, troubleshoot, optimize, and support SQL Server environments across AWS and Azure
