Summary

Cloud Computing Application Architect (Federal project)

Location- Remote

The resource will apply cloud architecture expertise to create environments that leverage current cloud capabilities while aligning with engineering standards, security requirements, and modernization objectives. This role requires deep handson technical experience, leadership in cloud design decisionmaking, and the ability to work with crossfunctional teams including engineers, product teams, and modernization stakeholders to deliver missionaligned, cloudbased systems.

Must Haves:
3+ years of experience designing, configuring, and administering enterprise applications in cloud environments
3+ years of experience developing with .NET, Entity Framework, and SQL
Experience architecting and deploying solutions in AWS and hybrid cloud environments
Experience developing secure, cloudbased architectures and adhering to engineering and cloud governance standards
Experience with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Claude Code
Experience deploying and troubleshooting IaaS environments and Linux or Unix systems, including shell scripting
