About the Role

What You'll Do
- Deploy & Maintain Hardware: Prepare, stage, and set up racks, hard drives, switches, and other components following detailed protocols and safety standards.
- Quality Assurance: Perform post-installation checks to ensure proper grounding, labeling, and cabling.
- Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Diagnose problems quickly, replace faulty components, and keep systems running smoothly.
- System Monitoring: Track performance, identify errors, and respond to alerts to maintain uptime.
- Support Upgrades & Decommissioning: Handle memory upgrades, OS rebuilds, and hardware refreshes with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Report incidents and escalate issues to leads as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred).
- Experience:
- 1+ year supporting IT equipment or related technology (Data center experience a plus).
- Familiarity with computer hardware, servers, and components.
- Skills:
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays.
