Director of IT for a Premier Medical Provider (Relocation Assistance)

This Director of IT will drive continuous improvements in IT service delivery and medical staff satisfaction. You will be responsible for the smooth and effective management, strategy, and execution of IT infrastructure for the entire organization. In addition, you will lead the improvement of operational productivity through automation technologies.

Position Responsibilities:
· Lead, mentor, and develop an IT team of 10+ professionals across network, help desk, systems, and technical support functions.
· Develop and execute an IT strategy that supports organizational growth and clinical operations.
· Establish IT policies, standards, procedures, and service-level expectations.
· Manage IT budgets, vendors, contracts, licensing, and technology investments.
· Oversee the implementation, administration, integration, and ongoing support of clinical and business applications.
· Help provide leadership for the support of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and RIS (Radiology Information Systems) environments.
· Collaborate with clinical staff, operations, and vendors to ensure technology supports efficient and reliable patient care
· Help evaluate and implement emerging technologies that improve clinical workflows and operational efficiency.
Experience:
· Successful track record of IT leadership experience, preferably managing a smaller hands-on team.
· Demonstrated experience managing IT infrastructure and technical support teams.
· Strong knowledge of networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud technologies and enterprise IT operations.
· Proven experience managing technology projects, vendors, budgets, and organizational change.
· Knowledge of interfaces and integrations between radiology systems, electronic health records, scheduling, billing, and other applications.
· Knowledge of HIPAA and other applicable healthcare privacy and security requirements is a strong plus.
· Experience working in a radiology, imaging, hospital, physician practice, or other healthcare environment is a strong plus.
· Experience supporting or implementing PACS and RIS systems is a strong plus.
