Skill set Requirement: We are looking for an AI Engineer with Vertex AI, MLOps experience. Details below:



AI & Agentic Framework Architecture: The engineer must have expertise in Agentic Frameworks and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This includes designing the backend orchestration layer responsible for intent recognition and dialogue flow management.

AI/ML Ops and Deployment: They require skills in AI-Machine Learning (ML) Ops, specifically regarding model deployment and integrating these components into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Generative AI Performance Optimization: A critical skill is optimizing for low-latency delivery, specifically metrics like Time to First Token (TTFT) and total response time for streaming responses. This involves knowledge of caching strategies (e.g., Cloud Memorystore) and efficient service calls.

Search and Embeddings: The role involves providing architectural guidance on services like Vertex AI Retail Search and using embedding capabilities for finding ??digital twins?? or interpreting ??in-store signals?? to handle user ??cold starts??.

Evaluation and Prompt Engineering: The engineer will guide the technical team on prompt engineering based on business priorities and assist in evaluation testing against a ??Golden Dataset?? to ensure the agent meets performance criteria.

API Design for AI: They must be skilled in defining API contracts for AI agents, particularly for streaming protocols to ensure fluid user conversations.
