Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid onsite)
Duration: Long-term
Note: Independent Visa on W2.
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with strong experience in modern frontend and backend technologies to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable web applications using React, Next.js, Django, and FastAPI. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using React, Next.js, Django, and FastAPI.
- Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React and Next.js.
- Develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using Django and FastAPI.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and application performance.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and application optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and cloud-based deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring application reliability and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack application development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Django and FastAPI.
- Strong experience with React.js and Next.js.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
Technical Skills
- Frontend: React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Backend: Python, Django, FastAPI
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
- APIs: RESTful Services, API Integration
- DevOps: Git, Docker, CI/CD
- Cloud: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Educational Qualifications:
· Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
· Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.
Travel:
· Open to travel based-up on the nature of the engagement.
