Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Project Leader, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
General
Work with the assigned team to review change requests, contracts, and new requests for accuracy, commercial, and technical issues
Manage external company or teams to commit to project parameters in writing
Document assumptions as part of proposals and ensure that they are included in the contract
Estimate and direct internal resources necessary to successfully complete the project
Communicate with other team members current and anticipated needs
Maintain organized file throughout project
Responsible for content, format, and timeliness of all project correspondence and submittals
Take ownership of infrastructures project team and our suppliers
Represent all of the company and is a main point of the contact for the team and external companies
Manage the project schedule
Use tools (ex. Gantt chart) for projects
Communicate when other project parties (e.g. external company) delay
Maintain the baseline schedule for comparison
Work with the internal and external project team to build requirements and test plans
Project Management and Delivery
Lead multiple concurrent subprojects through the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing
Build, maintain, and execute detailed project schedules using both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies, priority is Waterfall (MS Project Desktop, Excel, Planner, or similar tools)
Actively track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues
Drive mitigation plans and maintain clear project documentation
Facilitate project ceremonies and working sessions
Prepare and manage scope changes through formal Change Requests (CRs), including time and materials estimation
Financial and Forecast Management
Own and maintain project financials, including:
Monthly forecasts
Budget tracking
Funding submissions and approvals
Supporting IO Finance with required documentation and updates
Ensure financial transparency and timely reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Stakeholder and Vendor Management
Professionally engage with cross functional teams, external companies, and vendors
Navigate ambiguity effectively, provide clarity and structure in fluid program environments
Communicate clearly through high quality written and verbal updates
General Deliverables
The Project Leader will be responsible for producing and maintaining the following:
Master Program Schedule
Individual Project Schedules (updated weekly)
Financial Tracking Dashboard/Monthly Financials
Weekly Status Reports
Qualifications:
7+ years of concurrent, active, hands-on project management experience (must be currently practicing)
Proven ability to manage multiple overlapping subprojects in a complex program structure
Expertise in creating and maintaining Waterfall schedules and Agile/Scrum artifacts
Strong analytical capability for T&M estimations and CR preparation
Advanced proficiency in project financial management, forecasting, and budgeting
Excellent communication, executive presence, and vendor facing professionalism
Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive structure in uncertain environments
The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $95,000 or the hourly equivalent.
