Job Title: IT2/ION developer Location: US, DC is a first preference or non-local remote also okay. Job Description: Modify, enhance, and maintain custom data parsers in ION IT2 using Object REXX scripting and related APIs to support onboarding and integration for banks, payments, and statements.
Develop and maintain automation and integration solutions between IT2 and enterprise systems leveraging deep understanding of the IT2 data model, database schema, and data flows.
Troubleshoot production issues by analysing IT2 logs, identifying exceptions, and implementing targeted, permanent resolutions.
Design, optimize, and maintain IT2 scripts (Object REXX, VBScript, or Visual Basic) to automate and support bespoke treasury processes and workflows.
Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database routines, ensuring all updates maintain data integrity and adhere to ION policy standards
Demonstrate hands-on, expert-level knowledge of the IT2 data model, relationships, and reporting structures; develop reporting and update data as needed for business operations.
Build, troubleshoot, and enhance parsers for onboarding/supporting new and existing banks for generation of payment instructions, bank statements, and reconciliation formats.
Monitor IT2 system logs and performance, identify recurring issues, and implement durable, preventive solutions.
Manage user access, perform routine system health checks, and coordinate scheduled and emergency maintenance procedures.
Collaborate effectively with ION vendor support for escalations, patch analysis, urgent product fixes, and applying updates.
Document detailed system changes, resolutions, and best practice guidelines for audit and knowledge transfer.
Experience as an ION IT2 core developer, including design, development, deployment, and troubleshooting of custom code, reports, and system extensions.
Strong object-oriented scripting/programming, deep troubleshooting ability, and demonstrated expertise in advanced treasury operations with IT2.
