Overview: Every consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services offers to clients. As a Scrum Master, you will join the Business Transformation practice. The Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change, and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach and guide the development team on agile methodologies, practices, and principles
Ensure that the team adheres to agile processes and identify and remove any obstacles that hinder team productivity or delivery
Collaborate with the product owner to manage the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure that the team is focused on the most valuable features and functionalities
Work with the team to estimate and plan sprints and monitor and report sprint progress to stakeholders
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and encourage the team to reflect on their processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Encourage cross-functional collaboration and foster a team culture of trust, respect, and transparency
Act as a servant leader and empower the team to self-organize and make decisions
Maintain metrics and reports related to team productivity, velocity, and quality
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with experience in software development projects
Certification as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, and experience in applying agile principles and practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Ability to facilitate meetings, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus among team members
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues
Ability to maintain metrics and reports related to team productivity, velocity, and quality
Experience in coaching and mentoring agile teams
The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $150,000 or the hourly equivalent.
