The International Coordinator supports the distribution center s global supply chain by planning and executing international outbound shipments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating cross-functional activities. This role acts as the primary liaison with international customer service teams, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to achieve on-time, accurate, and cost-effective international distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
Plan, schedule, and coordinate international outbound shipments (air, ocean, road, rail) to/from suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
\n
Provide estimates of customer orders.
\n
Prepare and verify international documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/air waybills, packing declarations, certificates of origin, HS codes, Incoterms, export/import licenses, ISF/ACI where required).
\n
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies (customs compliance, sanctions screening, embargoes, license requirements, product classifications, labeling, and safety standards).
\n
Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers to obtain rates, secure capacity, track shipments, manage transit times, and resolve exceptions.
\n
Maintain accurate data in SAP systems; monitor shipment status, and KPI metrics (OTD, damage/loss).
\n
Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures for international logistics.
\n
Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to all warehouse and transportation safety policies.
\n

Qualifications:
\n
High school diploma or equivalent.
\n
3 5+ years of experience in international logistics, global trade compliance, or distribution center operations; experience in a distribution center setting preferred.
\n
Strong knowledge of international trade concepts: Incoterms and HS classification.
\n
Experience with SAP and proficiency in data analysis (Excel; SQL or similar a plus).
\n
Demonstrated ability to manage documentation and regulatory requirements for international shipments.
\n
Excellent communication, and relationship-building skills; ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
\n
Strong organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
\n
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle competing priorities and tight deadlines.
\n

Required Certifications:
\n
49 CFR, IATA and IMDG certification, or other logistics/trade compliance credentials.
\n
\n
Working Conditions:
\n
Primary work is in a distribution-center; may require standing, lifting, and occasional physical tasks related to logistics operations.
\n
Fast-paced atmosphere with strict deadlines; time may be required outside normal business hours to support international shipments.
\n
\n
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $46,000 - $63,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data).
