  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of metallurgy, including ferrous and nonferrous alloys
  • Hands-on experience with metallography and lab techniques (cutting, polishing, etching, hardness testing)
  • Experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, forging, forming, welding, or coating
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and material specifications
  • Ability to work onsite full-time

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in materials science, mechanical, metallurgical, or related engineering field
  • Deep expertise in material behavior and testing methods (fatigue, fracture, creep, stress analysis)
  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes (additive manufacturing, friction stir welding, EB welding, composites)
  • Experience in high-volume production environments
  • Expertise in process-property relationships and material performance optimization
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers
