Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Developer with expertise in IBM API Connect to design, develop, and manage enterprise-grade API solutions. The role involves leading integration initiatives, ensuring secure and scalable API deployments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise API/integration solutions, guide technical teams, mentor junior developers, drive end-to-end API lifecycle delivery and build scalable, secure, reusable services aligned with enterprise standards.
Lead integration projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business goals.
Configure, deploy, and manage API gateways, developer portals, and security policies.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and developers to define integration requirements.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance and availability.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and industry best practices.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical standards and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
Must-haves: IBM API Connect (APIC), REST/SOAP services, API security (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS), JSON, XML, XSLT, Kubernetes.
Strong hands-on experience with IBM API Connect (API design, gateway, portal, and analytics).
Experience with integration patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud-native deployments.
Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex enterprise environments.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience with IBM DataPower Gateway or other API management platforms.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid integration strategies.
