Job Description: Mobile Architect / Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications. The ideal candidate will define the mobile architecture, establish engineering best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative mobile solutions for Android and iOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall mobile application architecture.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
• Evaluate and recommend mobile technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop reusable components, libraries, and design patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA teams.
• Establish coding standards, development guidelines, and CI/CD best practices.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure quality.
• Mentor developers and support technical skill development.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in mobile application development.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale mobile applications.
• Strong expertise in Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and mobile-backend integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication, and data protection.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices-based architectures.
• Knowledge of mobile performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Mobile platform certifications or cloud certifications are a plus.
