The candidate will serve as a Salesforce Architect/Developer responsible for managing all aspects of Salesforce.com (SFDC), including configuration, customization, development, implementation, and third-party integrations.

The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders and development teams to design and implement Salesforce solutions that support business requirements and processes while continuously improving the platform.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Lightning Components, Apex programming, SOQL, JavaScript, Force.com APIs, Salesforce integrations, and Salesforce architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business teams to understand business processes and translate their needs into actionable Salesforce requirements for configuration and development.
  • Participate in the complete project lifecycle, including project kickoff, requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce solutions.
  • Develop customized Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Manage user testing, including test planning and creation of user test cases.
  • Create and maintain documentation covering processes, policies, configurations, and user guides.
  • Follow Salesforce best practices for release management and deployment across sandboxes and production.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality solutions on the Force.com platform.
  • Mentor and train State development resources.
  • Design Salesforce reporting solutions.
  • Design Salesforce forms for offline use using Survey123 or other native Salesforce utilities.
  • Maintain, enhance, and create workflows, Process Builder flows, Visual Flows, and other Salesforce configurations and functionality.
  • Develop and manage Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) sites.
  • Proactively identify and recommend required system changes.
  • Communicate system changes to users in advance and provide guidance on new functionality.
  • Develop advanced customized reports and dashboards and support ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Follow Salesforce reporting best practices to ensure system performance as data volumes increase.
  • Handle third-party integrations and troubleshoot integration issues with partner applications.
  • Work with leadership and stakeholders to identify Salesforce technologies, tools, and approaches that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Create project documentation, including user interface guides, training materials, functional documentation, and change orders.
  • Thoroughly unit test development deliverables and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate test cases and results against business and system requirements.
  • Develop complex, macro-driven reports to summarize system information for senior management.
  • Assist with migration from legacy systems and processes into Salesforce.
  • Build integration solutions between Salesforce and internal/external applications using ETL tools, web services, MuleSoft, and other integration technologies.
  • Import and manage data using Salesforce tools such as Data Loader.
  • Log, troubleshoot, and resolve Salesforce system issues.
  • Monitor and manage exception logs associated with backend system integrations with Salesforce.

 

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Salesforce application development and architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community/Experience Cloud.
  • 3+ years of experience building and managing Salesforce Communities/Experience Cloud.
  • 3+ years of experience with:
    • Apex
    • SOQL
    • JavaScript
    • Lightning Component Framework
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce design, analysis, configuration, customization, and coding.
  • 3+ years of experience with the Salesforce data model and Salesforce data migration/integration capabilities.
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce data tools such as:
    • Data Loader
    • Salesforce Outlook Connector
    • Jitterbit
    • Similar Salesforce data management tools
  • 3+ years of experience working with Scrum/Agile development practices.

 

Highly Desired

  • 3+ years of experience building Salesforce reports and dashboards.
