Summary

Overview

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across both onsite and remote environments. This role will focus on supporting Windows systems, managing end-user devices, and delivering high-quality customer service while resolving technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote desktop support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues for end users in a timely manner
  • Manage incidents and service requests using a ticketing system such as ServiceNow
  • Perform new user setups, device provisioning, and decommissioning of hardware
  • Install, upgrade, and replace hardware components including hard drives and RAM
  • Utilize remote support tools (e.g., Bomgar) to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Configure, support, and troubleshoot printers, including HP and Lexmark devices
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, resolutions, and processes

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems
  • Hands-on experience in desktop support across both onsite and remote environments
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
  • Experience with hardware installation, upgrades, and device lifecycle management
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Huntersville, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
