We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our Comms, Media & Technology practices for a mission-critical software engineering project. This role focuses on the end-to-end modernization, integration, and scaling of core backend components powering our high-volume Order Management Systems (OMS). Candidates must be local to the West Chester, PA area for daily onsite development operations.

responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and maintain enterprise-grade microservices and backend applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Design and execute workflows supporting critical OMS processes including order orchestration, provisioning, returns, and full order lifecycle tracking.
- Develop robust, secure API integrations linking core platforms with backend billing, payment processing, inventory control, and consumer registries.
- Embrace cutting-edge development tools, utilizing GenAI assistants and automation accelerators to optimize test automation, code execution, and peer documentation.
qualifications:
8+ years of professional backend software engineering experience specializing in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
2+ years of direct development experience with Order Management Systems (OMS), with comprehensive knowledge of order orchestration patterns.
Proven track record designing and supporting secure API structures integrating third-party enterprise platforms (billing, finance, or inventory).
Candidates must reside locally and be fully capable of working daily onsite at our West Chester, PA facility.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Practical experience working with GitHub CoPilot or alternative AI-assisted programming tools to streamline developer lifecycles.
Previous experience navigating complex, high-velocity Agile development environments within the Telecom or Media industries.
Background optimizing CI/CD deployment pipelines and implementing strict secure-coding standards.
