Overview
Client currently undergoing a critical RPA implementation and is seeking an experienced RPA Developer to step in immediately. With their primary SME transitioning out, this role is essential to help drive the project to completion, focusing on key automation workflows and reusable components.
Key Responsibilities
1. AP Invoice Automation
Automate end-to-end invoice processing for Accounts Payable
Monitor designated folders for incoming invoice PDFs
Extract key invoice data (PO number, invoice number, dates, tax, totals) using OCR/document understanding
Validate extracted data against ERP/PO records and flag exceptions
Upload validated invoices into ERP systems and prepare vouchers for payment
Generate bot run reports and email summaries for visibility into processed and exception items
2. Purchase Order Close-Out Automation
Automate closure of Purchase Orders based on predefined business rules
Retrieve open PO data from ERP on a scheduled basis
Apply rules (e.g., aging, remaining value thresholds, matching status)
Close eligible POs and maintain audit logs with before/after values
Generate exception reports for validation failures
Send summary reports to stakeholders for review
3. RPA Library Components Development
Build and maintain reusable RPA components to standardize automation
Develop SMTP Email Library for consistent bot notifications (success/failure, reports, logs)
Implement Egnyte API integrations for centralized file handling (upload, download, move, list)
Ensure components are scalable, reusable, and maintainable across multiple automation use cases
