Full Stack Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Data Engineer in Phoenix, AZ.

Summary:
In this role, you will handle the entire data lifecycle, from backend data engineering (ETL, Databases) and analysis (SQL) to frontend visualization (dashboard, UI's) and business translation. Your experience will enable you to bridge technical data work with strategic insights to solve complex problems end-to-end. In this role, you will understand business needs, integrate data across systems (APIs, Databases), build models, and present actionable insights into various business functions.

Responsibilities:
* Data Engineering: Connecting to diverse data sources, designing databases, data cleaning, ETL processes, and automating tasks
* Data Analysis and Science: Querying, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, and uncovering insights beyond basic reporting
* Frontend and Visualization: Creating dashboards (Power BI) and integrating data into user-friendly applications or APIs
* Business Acumen: Translating complex technical findings into clear business strategies and understanding stakeholder needs
* Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Working Knowledge, Benchmark Measures, and Standards of Conduct

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience
* Server or Oracle relational database experience; Experience with common table expressions, windows functions, set operations, aggregating data, and REGEXP; Ability to read execution plans and optimize query performance
* Understanding of how profiling supports master data management. Identifying and resolving data quality issues; Experience creating data cleansing and data remediation plans
* Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
* Experience developing reports in enterprise applications like Power BI, Tableau
* Experience in analyzing data to draw relevant business conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
* Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
* Understands the importance of data lineage and is comfortable documenting and maintaining such information
* Python: Version 3.8+, familiar with API OAuth2, API Keys, JWT authentication; Experience developing, maintaining, and consuming RESTful APIs
* Snowflake: Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables
* Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
* JavaScript: React and Angular preferred; SuiteScript 2.x a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
