Job Description:

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the mission of Global Ethics & Compliance by designing and delivering data-driven solutions that enhance the department's ability to identify, monitor, and respond to risk and compliance concerns across the organization. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform and emerging AI technologies. Working closely with the Solutions Architect and departmental stakeholders, the role will translate business needs into impactful digital tools, ensuring alignment with compliance objectives and operational excellence. The successful candidate will also contribute to solution documentation, support, and knowledge sharing to ensure long-term sustainability and adoption.

Essential Functions:
  • Design and develop enterprise-grade solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI/Fabric, Copilot Studio, etc.) and, where appropriate, AI capabilities (e.g., Azure AI Foundry). Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and user-friendly, with well-structured data models and thoughtful integration across Microsoft 365 services.
  • Maintain and enhance existing solutions to ensure continued performance, usability, and alignment with evolving business needs. Troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and manage lifecycle updates.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (including the Solutions Architect and business/process owners) to understand requirements, identify opportunities for automation, and translate needs into technical solutions.
  • Document solutions and maintain technical records to support knowledge transfer, troubleshooting, and long-term sustainability.
  • Maintain and grow technical expertise by staying current with developments across the Microsoft ecosystem (Power Platform, M365, Azure) and emerging AI technologies. Apply new capabilities to improve solution design, delivery and innovation within the portfolio.

Qualifications:
  • Achieved or actively working towards an Associate's degree (or higher) in Technology related discipline. Relevant work experience is considered more valuable.
  • Microsoft Certification in Power Platform and/or Power BI/Fabric.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Fabric.
  • Experience working in Compliance, Risk, or Regulated Environments is advantageous. Familiarity with solution lifecycle management, governance, and pro-code enhancements (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript) is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills and a user-focused mindset are also preferred, along with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform, Fabric, and Microsoft 365. Familiarity with Copilot Studio and Azure services (e.g., Entra ID, AI Foundry) is desirable. Strong data modeling, solution design, and awareness of enterprise-grade practices (e.g., ALM, error/exception handling) are essential.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Travel: Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as "in-office." As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
