Job Description:
Pay Range: $51hr - $56hr
  • The SCCM Engineer will be responsible for engineering, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise Windows endpoint environments.
  • This role focuses on modern device management, operating system lifecycle management, automation, and endpoint security.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows engineering, Intune, MECM administration, and PowerShell automation while supporting global deployments and enterprise transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Engineer, maintain, and optimize a global Windows 11 desktop environment to ensure stability, performance, and security.
  • Manage OS image engineering, lifecycle management, configuration baselines, and feature update strategies.
  • Lead advanced troubleshooting using logs, diagnostics, and telemetry tools.
  • Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Intune for configuration, compliance, and application deployment.
  • Lead Windows Autopilot deployments, provisioning workflows, and zero-touch onboarding processes.
  • Integrate Intune with Microsoft Entra ID, security baselines, conditional access, and compliance frameworks.
  • Administer and engineer Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager including task sequences, OS deployments, refresh and break/fix workflows.
  • Manage enterprise patching, compliance reporting, and infrastructure performance tuning.
  • Automate MECM and endpoint processes to reduce operational overhead.
  • Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell automation for configuration enforcement, remediation, user provisioning, data transformation, and reporting.
  • Build reusable automation modules supporting engineering and operational workflows.
  • Utilize digital experience monitoring tools such as Nexthink to monitor endpoint performance and improve user experience.
  • Provide third-line engineering support for escalated desktop issues.
  • Collaborate with security, networking, server engineering, and service desk teams.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and support global deployment activities.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
  • Contribute to hardware refresh, OS migration, security, and global transformation initiatives.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Windows 11 OS engineering and troubleshooting.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Entra ID device management.
  • Strong engineering-level experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, including task sequences and compliance management.
  • Advanced PowerShell development skills with modular, production-ready scripting.
  • Experience with enterprise patch management and software distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of Group Policy, conditional access, and security baselines.
  • Ability to provide high-level troubleshooting and escalation support.
Should Have:
  • Experience with Nexthink dashboards, investigations, and remote action scripting.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and endpoint security management.
  • Understanding of hardware lifecycle management including drivers and firmware.
  • Familiarity with virtualization, VDI, remote access technologies, and ITIL processes.

Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
