About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join a high-energy Facilities Maintenance team responsible for supporting seven buildings in Hagerstown, MD and several regional sites. This role works alongside experienced maintenance technicians to ensure the proper functioning, safety, and appearance of office buildings and aircraft hangars.

You will assist in maintaining a wide range of HVAC and electrical systems, performing facility repairs, supporting grounds upkeep, and contributing to routine and preventive maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks across multiple facilities.
Support maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and facility equipment.
Conduct interior and exterior painting using brush, roller, and spray methods.
Operate aerial lifts and mobile work platforms at heights up to 60 feet.
Assist with upkeep of building exteriors, grounds, hangar spaces, and related infrastructure.
Utilize computer systems and applications to receive, document, and complete work assignments.
Operate company vehicles and equipment (DOT clearance required).
Manage multiple maintenance tasks and priorities throughout the workday.
Ensure all work complies with safety policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

General construction and facility maintenance experience.
Proficiency in painting (brush, roller, spray).
Aerial lift and mobile platform experience, capable of working safely at heights up to 60'.
Basic computer skills, including ability to enter and retrieve information in maintenance systems.
Ability to obtain DOT clearance to operate company vehicles and equipment.
Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to work on diverse tasks in a dynamic environment.
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
