Sr. Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Architect

Location: Hybrid - Remote with partial travel for key milestones

 This is an Oracle Cloud ERP project. Only apply if you have extensive experience in Oracle Cloud (not EBS)

 This is not a managerial role, hence must be hands-on.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Architect to support large-scale Oracle ERP Cloud implementations. This role requires deep functional leadership across Oracle Cloud Financials, with a strong focus on subscription-based, usage-based, and complex revenue recognition models.

The ideal candidate will bring both strategic architecture expertise and hands-on delivery experience, leading enterprise financial transformations from design through go-live.

•            Fixed Assets (FA)

•            Strong alignment with Procurement for AP integration

Key Responsibilities:

•            Serve as the Financials Lead Architect for Oracle Cloud ERP implementations within TMT enterprises.

•            Design and deliver end-to-end financial solutions covering core accounting, revenue recognition, project accounting, and asset management.

•            Lead subscription billing, usage-based billing, and complex revenue recognition implementations in compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15.

•            Architect and govern revenue models for SaaS, Telecom, and Media licensing businesses.

•            Define and implement Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules to support complex, event-driven accounting requirements.

•            Lead financial core modernization initiatives, including legacy ERP replacements and shared services transformations.

•            Partner with business and IT stakeholders to align financial processes with operational systems.

•            Support telecom infrastructure accounting, including network asset capitalization and depreciation strategies.

•            Oversee Projects Financial Management for capitalized R&D, customer projects, and internal initiatives.

•            Ensure seamless integration across SCM, Procurement, Projects, and Financials.

•            Lead CRPs, fit-gap analysis, testing cycles, data reconciliation, and go-live readiness.

•            Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to onshore and offshore teams.

Required Experience:

•            Extensive experience as a Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Lead or Architect on large-scale ERP Cloud implementations.

•            Deep functional expertise across GL, AR, RMCS, SLA, with strong working knowledge of AP, Projects, FA, and Cash Management.

•            Proven experience supporting:

•            Subscription billing and SaaS business models

•            Telecom revenue recognition and usage-based billing

•            Media licensing and royalty-based revenue

•            ERP Cloud replacements and shared services transformations

•            Strong understanding of TMT financial operating models and industry best practices.

•            Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials workstreams.

•            Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience interfacing directly with senior client leadership.

•            Ability to balance architectural strategy with hands-on execution.
