Job Description
Develop and generate manufacturing work instructions and procedures
Provide engineering support to meet current andfuture manufacturing requirements.
Design and develop tooling, fixtures and other manufacturing aids.
Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members.
Responsible for the proper handling andmanagement of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
Perform other assignments as required.
Duties involve a broad spectrum of electronic and mechanical calibrations.
Requires use of numerous electronic testequipment and mechanical gauging, reading precise measurements of electronicand dimensional data to the closest tolerance exercising a thorough knowledgeof and ability to use such a wide variety of precision instruments.
Determine technical accuracy, operation, and proper sequencing of test procedures
Perform failure analysis to component level using schematics and various types of test equipment, document finding and make recommendations for corrective actions.
Tests involves understanding of electronictheory and interpretation of results.
Perform variety of tasks to ensure productionquality standards are met.
Construct test set-ups, interfaces to Unit UnderTest (UUT), test fixtures, and other test aids.
Perform lower level test duties as necessary.
Make recommendations for procedural changes as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Intermediate knowledge of email, Word, Excel, Access, and CAD.
People skills - high customerservice drive, positive attitude, team player, problem solver
Analytical abilities - reason, plan, solve problems, establish priorities
Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with people at all levels both inside and outside of Ducommun Inc.
Abilities listed inGeneral Requirements of Team Members
Prior experience in reading and applying information from wiring lists, wiring schematics, process sheets and procedures.
Intermediate to Advancedcomputer skills; ability to open programs and input data.
Understanding of electrical safety.
Ability to learn on the job training skills as it relates to various electronic test equipment.
Comprehensive understanding of electronic theory and ability to interpret results
Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:

CAD degree and experience is preferred. Associate's degree in electronic or mechanical technology preferred. 0-2 years experience in design or manufacturing support Licenses, Certifications, etc.:

Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required:
Moderate noise levelsLight manufacturing environmentOccasional overnight travel -
extended durations of up to five days

This position requiresaccess to export-controlled information and/or hardware, and candidates must beU.S. Persons that comply with all U.S. Export control laws and regulation.
