Job Summary

  • Seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with 8+ years of experience managing complex enterprise technology initiatives in data engineering, analytics, cloud, and AI-driven environments.
  • The ideal candidate will independently manage multiple project activities including planning, coordination, requirements gathering, business analysis, project execution, stakeholder communication, and status reporting.
  • This role supports data engineering and AI adoption initiatives and requires strong coordination across business, engineering, analytics, and executive teams.
  • PMP certification is required and must be clearly listed on the resume.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex technical projects and enterprise programs in cloud, analytics, and data engineering environments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, analysts, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, risks, and success metrics.
  • Support platform modernization, data engineering, and AI/ML adoption initiatives.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
  • Track project deliverables, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and executive/business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, charters, status reports, schedules, and lessons learned.
  • Monitor project execution to ensure alignment with organizational goals and delivery timelines.
  • Support Agile and SDLC methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into actionable technical plans.
  • Support issue resolution, escalation management, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards related to security, governance, and regulated data environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience leading technical projects or programs in data, analytics, and cloud environments.
  • 10+ years of experience managing data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • 10+ years of experience delivering business intelligence, analytics, and big data projects within enterprise environments.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting healthcare data initiatives; familiarity with FHIR, CCDA, and HL7 standards is highly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to business and executive audiences.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and complex project timelines.
  • Strong collaboration, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and financial tracking.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
  • Experience creating and maintaining project documentation and status reporting.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and data systems.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive and detail-oriented leadership approach.
  • PMP Certification is required.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
  • Understanding of compliance, security, and data governance concepts.
  • Experience supporting AI, advanced analytics, machine learning, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of SDLC processes, enterprise architecture, and IT governance frameworks.
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Customer-focused communication and presentation abilities.
  • Certifications such as PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, TOGAF, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform are preferred.
  • Experience with cloud solution architecture and enterprise modernization initiatives is a plus.
