Application Developer

About your role:

At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As an Application Developer, you will join a vibrant team focused on creating innovative solutions that streamline financial transactions and ensure security. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining applications that meet the dynamic needs of our clients.

You will design, build, test, and support software applications that enable business operations and client solutions at Fiserv. You will work closely with product, engineering, quality, and operations partners to deliver reliable, scalable technology. This role is important to improving application performance, supporting delivery timelines, and helping teams translate business needs into production-ready solutions.

What you'll do:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices.

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 6+ years of experience in application development delivering software solutions across the full software development lifecycle
  • 1+ year experience in Azure GovCloud services
  • Experience in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages
  • Experience in SQL databases
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Strong web development experience in Angular
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • SAFe or Scrum Master certification.

How you'll work:
  • This is a remote position that will be based in Texas.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
