Job Title: Infrastructure Solutions Architect

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid - Onsite Mon & Tue, Remote Wed-Fri)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Extension Possible)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on enterprise systems, hybrid environments, and mission-critical applications, ensuring alignment with architecture standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable infrastructure and system architecture solutions
Develop enterprise data models, data flows, and metadata repositories
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and solution designs
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with governance standards
Lead infrastructure migration, consolidation, and system integration initiatives
Establish configuration management and architecture governance practices
Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and system specifications
Support cross-functional teams in application and infrastructure integration
Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements
Facilitate architecture discussions and technical design sessions
Align solutions with enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
5+ years of experience with Windows Server in enterprise environments
3+ years of experience with SQL (querying and database support)
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Strong experience in system design, architecture, and technical documentation
3+ years of network administration experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, or JBoss
Experience with Oracle or SQL Server database architecture
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, C#)
Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQube, JFrog, Veracode)
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with web servers (IIS, Apache) and security tools (WAF, Cloudflare)
Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models
