Job Description We are seeking an experienced
Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java and modern front-end technologies to support enterprise-level application development for a large financial services environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on development experience, architectural insight, and the ability to work effectively in Agile teams.
Must-Have Technical & Functional Skills - Strong experience with Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot
- Front-end development using Angular, DOM, jQuery, AJAX
- Extensive experience with REST and SOAP Web Services
- Proficient in API integrations, handling XML and JSON
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with full stack development
Roles & Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Angular and Java-based backend technologies
- Build and consume SOAP and RESTful APIs with high performance and scalability
- Perform hands-on development across UI, business logic, and integration layers
- Utilize Log4j for logging and debugging, JUnit for unit and integration testing
- Work with XML Spy for XML validation and schema handling
- Write complex SQL queries, Oracle PL/SQL, and work with JDBC
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
- Ensure application quality, performance, and adherence to enterprise standards
Additional Skills (Nice to Have) - Strong experience in payment systems
- Knowledge of ISO XML and MT message formats
- Exposure to financial services or banking domain is a plus

- Strong communication, collaboration, and team-building skills
- Ability to quickly grasp and apply new technical concepts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, enterprise environment
