Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking a Senior C++ Programmer – COMPASS Model for our client in Seattle, WA 98112. This is a temporary contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

Position Title: Senior C++ Programmer – COMPASS Model
Location: Seattle, WA 98112
Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift; Onsite
Pay Rate: DOE

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and enhance an established C++ scientific modeling application.
  • Develop and maintain graphical user interface functionality.
  • Implement new scientific modeling features.
  • Debug, test, maintain, and optimize production software.
  • Improve application performance and reduce memory usage.
  • Maintain technical and user documentation.
  • Communicate technical status, issues, and recommendations.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • Degree in Computer Science or closely related computing field.
  • 10+ years of applied software programming experience.
  • Strong C++ development experience.
  • Experience developing, debugging, testing, and maintaining production software.
  • Academic background/coursework in ecology, fisheries, oceanography, environmental science, biology, or related field.
  • Experience with ecological, environmental, biological, or scientific modeling.
