Act as the primary liaison between Finance leadership, Technology, and Operations to ensure a compliant, scalable, and automation-driven leasing platform.
Key Responsibilities
· Solution Ownership (OLFM): Drive functional architecture across Contract Authoring, Pricing/Streams, Billing, Disbursements, Investor Agreements/Pools, Renewals, Terminations, Collections, and Reporting.
· Lessor Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP):
o Define accounting treatments for Operating vs Finance leases, residuals, lease receivables, interest recognition, impairments, buybacks, and end-of-term outcomes.
o Translate policy papers into system logic and document accounting position notes and control narratives for audit.
· SLA Design & Configuration:
o Own Subledger Accounting rules for OLFM, AR, AP, FA: event classes, journal line definitions, account derivation, descriptions, and multi-GAAP representations.
o Orchestrate Create Accounting and Transfer to GL controls; build reconciliation checkpoints and exception handling.
· Cross-Module Integration: Ensure robust flows with AR (billing/receipts), AP (funding/credits), GL (posting & reporting), FA (operating-lease depreciation), EBTax, Credit Management, and (where relevant) Inventory/OM.
· Controls & Compliance: Establish preventive/detective controls (e.g., stream-to-SLA tie-outs, MRC/multi-ledger cecks, period-end reconciliations) and support external audits.
· Delivery Leadership: Lead workshops, produce BRDs/MD50s/BR100s, plan and run SIT/UAT, cutover, and hyper-care; mentor analysts; coordinate offshore teams and partners.
Required Qualifications & Experience

· 7+ years hands-on OLFM functional experience, including at least one end-to-end implementation as a lead.
· Proven expertise in IFRS/US GAAP lessor accounting (operating vs finance leases, lease receivable, residual treatment, income recognition, impairments) and translating policy to configuration.
· Advanced SLA configuration skills across OLFM events (booking, accrual, billing, disbursements, investor actions, terminations) and related AR/AP/FA flows; strong GL posting and reconciliation know-how.
· Deep knowledge of Streams & Pricing (rent, residual, principal, interest), Investor Agreements/Pools (fixed/percent), Prefunding/Short-funding, Vendor Programs/Subsidies, Renewals/Terminations.
· Strong documentation (designs, accounting memos), stakeholder management, and ability to challenge/shape requirements.
Nice-to-Have
· Experience with securitisation/syndication programs and pool performance reporting.
· Familiarity with IFRS 16 interpretations and audit interactions.
· Working knowledge of RICE components, data model, and OLFM public APIs (for design collaboration with technical teams).
