Role Purpose
The Scrum Master will enable Agile delivery for patient strategy initiatives, with a strong focus on Patient Services programs such as patient onboarding, benefits investigation, adherence, and patient support services. The role requires hands-on experience delivering projects in patient-focused commercial programs within pharma.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams delivering Patient Services / Patient Strategy solutions.
Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives).
Support execution of initiatives related to:
o Patient onboarding and enrollment
o Benefits investigation and access services
o Patient adherence and persistence programs
o Patient support services (PSP / HUB models)
Remove impediments related to cross-functional dependencies (Commercial, IT, Compliance, HUB vendors).
Work closely with Product Owners and BSAs to ensure backlog items reflect patient-centric outcomes.
Track and report delivery metrics (velocity, sprint health, risks, dependencies).
Ensure Agile delivery aligns with pharma compliance, including GDPR/HIPAA, consent management, and MLR processes.
Support coordination across multiple teams and vendors involved in patient services execution.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
Experience supporting or delivering initiatives in pharma commercial, patient engagement, patient services, or related healthcare programs.
Strong understanding of patient services workflows (onboarding, benefits, adherence).
Experience working in regulated pharma commercial environments.
Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
Exposure to Salesforce Health Cloud / Service Cloud, Veeva CRM, patient HUB integrations.
Experience working with patient support vendors, call centers, or nurse support programs.
SAFe / Scrum certifications preferred.
