We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust and scalable backend services that support our applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Framework.
• Implement microservices architecture to enhance application performance and maintainability.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services using technologies like Apache Kafka and Apache Cassandra.
• Ensure data integrity and performance by designing and optimizing database schemas in PostgreSQL.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth and JWT.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance our development practices.

Requirements

• Java: Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Spring Framework: Experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Microservices: Ability to design and implement microservices architecture.
• Apache Kafka: Experience with Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and streaming applications.
• Apache Cassandra: Knowledge of Cassandra for handling large volumes of data with high availability.
• PostgreSQL: Experience with PostgreSQL for database management and query optimization.
• Authentication: Strong understanding of OAuth and JWT for implementing secure authentication and authorization.

• Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
