Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant – Projects
Work Model: Remote / Hybrid / Onsite
Location Preference: Candidate should currently be residing in EST or CST time zones
Total Experience: 12–15 Years of experience exclusively in Oracle ecosystem
Relevant Recent Experience: Minimum 5–7 Years of recent hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Projects modules
The role is primarily functional (approximately 70%) with around 30% technical responsibilities.
The consultant should have strong experience in Oracle Projects Accounting, Costing, Billing, and related financial
integrations, along with the ability to support technical analysis, troubleshooting, interfaces, and reporting. The
consultant should be capable of independently owning the Projects modules, driving discussions with multiple
business and technical teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and contributing individually toward successful delivery
and support activities.

Technical Expertise Required
• Strong understanding of Oracle EBS data model
• Ability to analyze/debug PL/SQL packages, procedures, and queries
• Experience with SQL / PL-SQL
• XML Publisher Reports
• Interfaces & Data Conversions
• API Integrations
• Concurrent Programs
• Ability to coordinate with technical development teams for customizations and enhancements
Key Responsibilities
• Gather and analyze business requirements
• Provide functional solutioning and module configurations
• Independently own and drive Oracle Projects modules activities
• Coordinate with multiple business teams, finance teams, technical teams, and stakeholders
• Support project costing, billing, revenue generation, and accounting processes
• Work closely with Finance, Projects, AP, AR, GL, and Procurement teams
• Support integrations, reporting, and data reconciliation activities
• Perform issue analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification
• Coordinate SIT/UAT testing and production deployments
• Prepare functional and techno-functional documentation
• Provide production support and enhancement support
Required Skills
• Strong hands-on Oracle EBS R12 experience
• Total career experience should be predominantly/exclusively in Oracle technologies and Oracle ERP ecosystem
• Strong functional knowledge with techno-functional capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
• Ability to independently own modules and drive discussions across teams
• Experience working in support and enhancement engagements
• Strong individual contributor mindset with ownership and accountability
Preferred Skills
• Experience in manufacturing / engineering domain
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Projects is an added advantage
