Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree
· 10+ years in IT Sourcing and procurement both hardware and software
· 3+ years leading major RFPs
· 5+ years managing outsourced vendor relationships.
· Experience in evaluating support agreements and the yearly true-up and demand management requirements.
· Experience leading key technology negotiations.
· Legal experience, with a background in IT contracts, is an advantage.
· Strong ability to translate stakeholder requirements into IT sourcing practices and business outcomes.
· Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD), Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification or Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) is a plus.
Responsibilities
· Define IT sourcing plans for technology services, aligned to technology and business unit objectives and priorities.
· Promote/communicate the sourcing strategy to the key stakeholders, ensuring that it is well socialized and well supported by key stakeholders.
· Work closely with stakeholders (IT, business, vendor management) to lead major RFPs.
· Create procurement plans and drive sourcing activities for IT services.
· Manage projects against an approved plan and objectives to ensure that commitments are met by monitoring, assessing and resolving variances in budget, timing or quality of work.
· Understand and adopt agile, pragmatic and fast-track principles into IT sourcing and procurement practices.
· Provide proactive, high-value procurement and contract negotiation consultation to the business through thorough understanding of industry best practices and business needs.
· Lead the evaluation of optimal sourcing and pricing options.
· Manage purchase order process to ensure timely delivery of all required IT items.
