Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Data, BI & AI (EDBI), is a strategic people leader responsible for advancing enterprise data and analytics capabilities through the leadership and development of high-performing teams. This role oversees the implementation of scalable data, reporting, and governance solutions while driving team performance, delivery execution, and the realization of business value from data products.

As the primary owner of EDBI priorities and backlog, the Senior Manager defines the "what" and "why" of data and analytics initiatives, guiding the team on priorities and ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy. This role operates at the intersection of people leadership, strategy, and product, translating complex business needs into actionable features, datasets, and reporting solutions that maximize the value of the organization's data platform.

The Senior Manager partners closely with business leaders, architects, and engineering teams, serving as a trusted stakeholder advisor to ensure solutions are aligned, governed, scalable, and impactful. Success in this role requires strong leadership presence, the ability to influence across functions, and a focus on developing team capability while delivering high-quality outcomes within Microsoft Fabric.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Delivery Execution, Data Products & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Drive delivery of data, reporting, and governance solutions, ensuring quality, scalability, and consistency across the organization
  • Partner with business leaders and IT to understand priorities, translate needs into actionable solutions, and drive adoption of data and analytics capabilities
  • Oversee the development and management of data solutions, including data pipelines, models, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools
  • Establish and maintain enterprise standards for data quality, KPI definition, and reporting governance
  • Ensure effective data governance, including access controls, compliance with company policies, and protection of enterprise data assets

People Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Enterprise Data, BI & AI (EDBI) team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Set clear priorities for the team, aligning work to enterprise goals and ensuring focus on initiatives that deliver the greatest business impact
  • Provide leadership and guidance on complex data and analytics initiatives, supporting informed decision-making across the business

Strategy, Planning & Financial Management
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the enterprise data and analytics strategy and roadmap
  • Align team priorities to enterprise objectives, ensuring delivery of measurable business value
  • Manage resources and financials for the function, ensuring efficient use of budget and alignment to business priorities

Organizational Impact
  • Establishes key elements of tactical and operational plans with direct impact towards the achievement of results of the area. Focus is on short- to mid-term operational plans (e.g., 1- 2 years).
  • Develops new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the area.

Required Education & Experience
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline preferred
  • 6 -8 years of data, analytics, or technology experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience in agile delivery and backlog management
  • Strong business-to-technical translation skills
  • Proven proficiency in leadership, HR management, strategic planning, vendor management, cybersecurity, communication, problem solving, compliance and risk management.
  • Deep understanding of business practices and operations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office / MS Office 365 tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint.

Preferred Experience
  • Microsoft Fabric or Azure experience
  • Self-service analytics experience
  • Regulated industry experience
  • CSPO or similar certification

SALARY RANGE: $160,000 to $170,000 annually depending upon experience.
This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.

In addition to up to 9 paid company holidays per year, employees are eligible for up to 6 days of sick pay. Moreover, eligible employees with less than 10 years of service can accrue up to 17 PTO days per year (and up to 22 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service). Employees are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Plan. Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage. Employees are covered by company-paid disability, basic life insurance and parental leave. Voluntary insurance coverage options, including critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity, are also available. In addition, the Company offers an Employee Assistance Program and tuition reimbursement (as applicable). Employees may also be eligible for state required benefits such as paid family and medical leave insurance and/or paid sick time as applicable.
