Title: Backend Engineer (.Net)

Location: Fremont, CA - must be local candidate and be onsite 5 days a week

Duration: 6+ Months Contract to hire

2 rounds of Interview:

1st round - video Technical Interview - 45 mins 

2nd round - 2 interviews 45 mins each (In person)

Candidate must bring laptop to the in-person interview

Job Description 

Must‑Have Technical Skills 

Backend Language

• C# / .NET (preferred)

• Java or Python acceptable if the candidate has strong fundamentals and codes daily

Backend Architecture & APIs

• Hands‑on experience with microservices
• Experience with distributed systems
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and principles

Infrastructure & DevOps

• Docker
• Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines

Databases & Data

• MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Intermediate SQL skills

Core Engineering Fundamentals (Very Important)

• Strong Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, production‑ready code
• Familiarity with design patterns (e.g., decorator and common OOP patterns)
• Sound engineering judgment and first‑principles thinking
