Summary

Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer

Location: San Antonio, TX or Plano, TX (onsite 4 days/week)

Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Top Must-Haves:

Extensive Java & J2EE Experience
API Development
Cloud Transformation & DevSecOps engineering using automated secure CI/CD toolchain

Experience with container & cloud-based deployments (multi-cloud experience - AWS (must have), Google Cloud Platform, Azure)
Familiarity with DevOps Automation Tools: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, Git, Ansible

Nice to Have:

Python, JavaScript, Golang

Description:

Must have led parts of implementation for at least 1 or 2 large sized projects
Programs technically medium to highly complex solutions based on business requirements
Creates unit tests to ensure accuracy. Track record of identifying largest risk areas and driving resolution of these issues
Provides accurate and timely input regarding status of technical tasks
Ensure project goals make sense and overall development objectives are being met
Designs and develops high quality, scalable and efficient solutions and products on schedule
Mentors lesser tenured developers within in the team
Experience with API development, CI/CD pipeline & tools, & container & cloud-based deployments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
Demonstrated use of multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Golang) and understanding of UI frameworks.
Familiarity with DevOps Automation Tools: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, Git, Ansible.
Continuous learning mindset with strong problem-solving & analytical skills for troubleshooting and return to service operations.
