Summary
Job Title: RTL / FPGA Design Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA(Onsite)
Duration: Contract(W2 Only)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced RTL / FPGA Design Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in FPGA design, simulation, synthesis, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have solid experience using Vivado, along with TCL and Python scripting, and will contribute across the full product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RTL code using Verilog/SystemVerilog
- Perform FPGA design activities including simulation, synthesis, and implementation
- Use Vivado for FPGA development, debugging, and optimization
- Participate in all phases of the product lifecycle including architecture, design, implementation, validation, and support
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for IPs and FPGA designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support prototyping and productization
- Utilize TCL and Python scripts to automate design flows and improve efficiency
- Support debugging and validation of FPGA designs in lab and production environments
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in RTL Design
- Hands-on experience with FPGA design flow (simulation, synthesis, implementation)
- Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog
- Solid experience using Vivado
- Working knowledge of TCL and Python scripting
- Understanding of digital design fundamentals and timing analysis
- Experience with FPGA debugging and validation
