Business Development Manager (BDM) – US IT Staffing (Direct Clients / Tier-1 Vendors)
Location: Remote
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in US IT Staffing, Direct Client Acquisition, and Tier-1 Vendor Development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business opportunities, establishing strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the US staffing industry.
This role requires expertise in lead generation, client acquisition, account management, contract negotiations, and business development activities focused on expanding staffing partnerships across the US market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and acquire Direct Clients and Tier-1 Vendors for IT staffing services across the US market.
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, vendor managers, and key decision-makers.
- Manage the complete business development lifecycle, including prospecting, client acquisition, negotiations, account management, and revenue growth.
- Understand client hiring needs and position appropriate staffing solutions to support their workforce requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Recruitment Managers and recruiting teams to align sourcing strategies, ensure quality candidate submissions, and achieve successful requirement fulfillment.
- Work with internal delivery teams to ensure timely closures and exceptional client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients and business opportunities.
- Negotiate and execute client agreements, including MSA, NDA, SOW, and other contractual documents.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, business opportunities, and account activities.
- Drive long-term account growth by identifying expansion opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in US IT Staffing Business Development.
- Proven success in Direct Client Acquisition and/or Tier-1 Vendor Development.
- Strong expertise in lead generation, cold calling, email marketing, LinkedIn outreach, and relationship building.
- Excellent understanding of US staffing engagement models, including W2, C2C, and 1099.
- Strong knowledge of the US recruitment lifecycle, hiring practices, and staffing processes.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and staffing contracts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment and consistently achieve business growth objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established network of Direct Clients, MSPs, VMS partners, or Tier-1 Vendors.
- Experience using CRM tools and sales automation platforms.
- Strong understanding of the US IT services and staffing landscape.
