We develop applications that our customers use directly to acquire or monetize marketplace data, as well as APIs that enable integrations between LiveRamp's marketplace and other data platforms in the ecosystem.
LiveRamp seeks a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to drive the growth of our data marketplace. This platform will empower LiveRamp customers and external partners with access to premium third-party data, enabling them to construct high-quality audiences for marketing and advertising initiatives.
You will- Set architectural vision for our agentic Data Marketplace; you'll ensure our API design and system architecture are resilient, scalable, and set the standard for engineering excellence at LiveRamp.
- Foster collaboration across the engineering organization. You'll proactively identify system-wide bottlenecks, manage complex dependencies, and help other teams resolve technical hurdles to keep our global priorities on track.
- Partner with Product leadership to shape our 12-month roadmap. By combining your deep understanding of our customers with your technical expertise, you'll help refine our strategy and ensure we're building the right products for the market.
- Foster high standards for code quality, testing, and performance across the department. You'll evangelize best practices and introduce innovative testing approaches to ensure our platform remains the most trusted in the data ecosystem.
- Act as a role model and catalyst for growth. You'll mentor engineers across the company, foster a positive and inclusive team culture, and represent LiveRamp's technical brand through tech talks and industry outreach

As a Staff Engineer, you are a force multiplier-your value is measured not just by your own commits, but by the elevated performance and code quality of the entire team.
- 8+ years of hands-on development experience, thrives in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Deep technical intuition in API design and system integration. You build high-performance interfaces that connect complex data ecosystems, ensuring our marketplace is seamless for both human customers and autonomous AI agents.
- A "systems thinker" who can navigate a multi-language stack (TypeScript, Ruby, Python, React) and leverage Redis and Sidekiq to manage concurrency and background execution at scale.
- You look beyond your own "to-do list" to champion improvements across the organization. You assess complexity at a glance and enjoy building prototypes to prove out innovative paths.
- You translate high-level business goals into technical reality and build consensus across diverse teams.
- You maintain a "production-first" mindset - prioritizing observability and resilience to build software that is as reliable as it is innovative.

Preferred Skills:- Experience with Agile software development
- Experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform
- Significant experience developing user interfaces with the React framework

The approximate annual base compensation range is $152,500 to $229,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
